Tonitown Grape Festival Go!
The Tontitown Grape Festival is one of those iconic regional events. The 117th Grape Festival (yes, you read
that correctly, 117 years) will be Tuesday, August 4 through Saturday, August 8 this
summer. “The Tontitown Grape Festival is held each year in August as a celebration of
the Italian heritage of Tontitown (Washington County)
Featuring spaghetti dinners, carnival rides, arts and crafts booths, live music, and the crowning of Queen
Concordia, the threeday festival is believed to be the longestrunning annual
community celebration in Arkansas.“ as described by The Encyclopedia of Arkansas.
The festival stuff is here: food, fun, and entertainment, but what sets the
Tontitown Grape Festival apart is its rich cultural history and engagement.
These folks make every visitor feel like a member of their community, if
only for a few days. Stop into the Tontitown Winery for a true taste of what
these folks have to offer: hospitality at its best. There really isn’t any other
word needed for this article, but “GO!"
